Happy New Year!

Our Bestselling Games of 2013!

Honorable mentions to Magic: the Gathering Core and Theros Booster packs and dice, so many dice!

10. Kill Doctor Lucky from Paizo Publishing

Boy, do you HATE Doctor Lucky! The chase is on in what has been described as "reverse Clue" or "pre-Clue". You, for your own dark reasons, are trying to wipe out the doctor without anyone else witnessing or otherwise interfering with the crime. So many times you come so close, but Doctor Lucky is very, VERY lucky!

9. We Didn't Playtest This: Legacies from Asmadi Games

The variation with the evolving deck, players write PERMANENTLY on the cards and change the play for each set giving a personal touch to this game night favorite!

8. Betrayal at House on the Hill from Wizards of the Coast

Betrayal at House on the Hill quickly builds suspense and excitement as players explore a haunted mansion of their own design, encountering spirits and frightening omens that foretell their fate. Betrayal at House on the Hill is a tile game that allows players to build their own haunted house room by room, tile by tile, creating a new thrilling game board every time. The game is designed for three to six people, each of whom plays one of six possible characters. Secretly, one of the characters betrays the rest of the party, and the innocent members of the party must defeat the traitor in their midst before it’s too late! Betrayal at House on the Hill will appeal to any game player who enjoys a fun, suspenseful, and strategic game. (from boardgamegeek.com)

7. Feed the Kitty from Gamewright

Feed the Kitty is as simple as a cat's life. Mice are on the menu, and as they move from place to place, it's anyone's guess who will end up hungry and who will get to have a full belly. Will you be caught catnapping or will you pounce into the lead? The answer is all in the roll of the dice. Simple and fast-moving, this has been a great game for pre-reading children!

6. Dungeons & Dragons Starter Set 4th Edition from Wizards of the Coast

A basic introduction to the 4th edition of D&D has everything you need to get started. We've had gamers of all ages beginning or returning to the (sort of) original RPG!

5. Zeus On the Loose from Gamewright

Catch Zeus if you can! The great Greek god has bolted from Mount Olympus and it?s up to you to nab this dashing deity. Play cards strategically, adding numbers as you climb up the mythic mountain. Grab Zeus when the total reaches a multiple of 10. Kids and grown-ups both love this fast-paced card game!

4. Fluxx 4.0 from Looney Labs

This is a wonderfully chaotic game that changes rules with every card that's put into play. Games can be very quick or very long, but average about 30 minutes. It's great for adults and kids of reading age. This is the basic set, but for variety there are also themed decks such as Cthulhu, Monty Python, Star Fluxx, and Family Fluxx for groups with young children!

3. Munchkin: Color Edition From Steve Jackson Games

Our favorite "gateway" game.Munchkin is the mega-hit card game about dungeon adventure . . . with none of that stupid role-playing stuff. You and your friends compete to kill monsters and grab magic items. And what magic items! Don the Horny Helmet and the Boots of Butt-Kicking. Wield the Staff of Napalm . . . or maybe the Chainsaw of Bloody Dismemberment. Start by slaughtering the Potted Plant and the Drooling Slime, and work your way up to the Plutonium Dragon . . . (from Steve Jackson Games)

2. Magic the Gathering 2014 Intro Packs from Wizards of the Coast

Pre-built decks with several different variations are perfect for getting started!
