VOLUME ONE: cover has significant peeling and wear to leather. In multiple spots, leather is peeling away from boards. Hinges are split along both sides of spine. Raised bands intact. Headband intact. Tail broken in half. Gilt lettering and decoration on spine is worn, but visable. Inside hinges split. End papers loose. Light tanning to first sixty-four pages and last 90 pages. Subsuqent pages have light foxing. Tanning on very edge of pages. Pages clean and intact otherwise. Folios and binding intact. Textblock tight. Pages are rippled throughout. VOLUME TWO: Significant scuffing, wear to leather edges and corners; cracked hinges. Raised cords are intact. Headband and foot are broken and loose. Gilt lettering and decoration on spine is worn, but visable. Inside hinges split front and back. Front endpapers loose. Light foxing throughout. Very light tanning to edges. Pages clean and intact otherwise. Folios and binding intact. Textblock tight. Pages are rippled throughout. These volumes are good for re-binding, as the pages are in great shape.
