Exeter House Books

Founded in 1982, Exeter House Books is among the nation's leaders in the publishing of books about ghosts, haunted places, legends, and lore in the mid-Atlantic states. 

For many years, Exeter House has been the home to Charles J. Adams III, who is renowned for his many books of Ghosts and Hauntings mostly in the Eastern part of Pennsylvania. Adams was born in Reading, Pennsylvania and still lives there today. In addition to his books, Adams also wrote regular features on travel and local legends in the Reading Eagle newspaper and has written travel stories for several other magazines and publications. He has also been the morning air personality on radio station WEEU in Reading.
